Founding Team

Owais Aslam is the Founder & Managing Partner of Aslam Capital, a lower-middle-market investment firm focused on institutional entrepreneurship through acquisition. He operates at the intersection of real-world business execution and disciplined investing, with direct responsibility across the full lifecycle - from underwriting and diligence to financing and post-close operations.

Owais’s work is grounded in building durable businesses and scalable infrastructure. Over the past several years, he has acquired and operated cash-flowing companies, developed an ETA platform from first principles, and built tools to support financial research, CIM analysis, and valuation workflows. His approach emphasizes accuracy, aligned incentives, and downside protection - paired with a practical operator mindset shaped by day-to-day ownership.

He is a Cornell MBA and has served in investing and leadership roles at the Cayuga Fund, including Portfolio Manager and Investor Relations Manager. Owais also teaches and speaks on ETA in practice, sharing operator-led lessons on sourcing, closing, and the first 90 days of ownership across leading business school communities.
